Customer Advisor – Melton Mowbray (Full Time)
Salary: £16,096 – £16,891 per annum + Saturday pay plus benefits

We are looking for an outgoing and flexible individual to join our Melton Branch as a Customer Advisor.  Reporting directly to the Branch Manager, this full time role will be contracted for 37.5 hours per week with the requirement to also work regular Saturday mornings.

This role involves face-to-face interaction with customers, advising them about Society products and services, processing transactions and other general administrative tasks within the Branch. Previous experience within a customer service role would be beneficial however is not essential, as full training will be provided.

The successful candidate must have basic computer skills and be an effective communicator. A minimum of five GCSE’s (or equivalent) grades A-C including Maths and English Language are required and the individual must be able to demonstrate experience in delivering excellent customer service.

Business Development Manager
Salary: £29,591 - £31,828 per ammum (depending on experience) plus benefits

This exciting full time role is based within our Sales and Marketing function at Principal Office in Melton Mowbray with national travel required.

Reporting to the Head of Sales & Marketing, the role is to attract, maintain and develop key relationships with mortgage intermediaries delivering a great customer experience.

As the Business Development Manager, you will be pro-active in the day to day account management of mortgage intermediaries. This will include creating key account plans, relationship management, event attendance, delivering presentations, promotion of products and services and following up new enquiries.

The role will support the Head of Sales & Marketing in developing and nurturing both new and existing intermediary relationships, creating a business development strategy using knowledge and experience of the intermediary mortgage market.

As part of delivering a great customer experience, you will be required to monitor market trends, gathering and acting on feedback from intermediaries. The BDM will be the ‘voice of the broker’ bringing intermediaries into the heart of the business, contributing ideas to improve products and services along with new initiatives.

To be considered for the role, candidates should have the following skills and experience:

  • Experience in sales and customer service is essential
  • Own car is essential
  • Mortgage background and knowledge of the intermediary market advantageous
  • Excellent presentation skills, full of initiative, energy and enthusiasm for our service and proposition
  • Able to develop and build effective relationships with both intermediaries and colleagues
  • Exceptional customer focus with experience of meeting and exceeding expectations
  • Highly developed verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong organisational and time management skills, self-motivated and flexible
  • CeMAP qualification advantageous
