Power in the Park terms and conditions

These terms and conditions will be available at the Melton Building Society marquee during the Power in the Park event.

• This competition is organised and run by Melton Building Society, registered office: Mutual House, Leicester Road, Melton Mowbray, Leicestershire, LE13 0DB.
• The competition will take place at Power in the Park 2025 in Melton Mowbray.
• To enter, participants must attempt to stop a digital stopwatch on 15.00.00 seconds.
• The participant who stops the clock closest to exactly 15.00.00 seconds will be the winner.
• If multiple participants stop the clock at the same winning time, those participants will be entered into a prize draw to decide the winner. The draw will take place on Monday 18th August.
• The winner will receive an Amazon voucher for £150.
• No cash alternative or alternative prize will be offered.
• Entry is free and must be made in person at the Melton Building Society marquee during the event.
• Each individual is allowed one entry only. Multiple entries will result in disqualification.
• The stopwatch will be operated and monitored by Melton Building Society colleagues to ensure fairness.
• To be eligible for this prize competition, you must be resident in the UK.
• Employees of Melton Building Society are not eligible to enter.
• By entering, participants agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.
• The winner will be the participant who stops the stopwatch closest to exactly 15.00.00 seconds, whether it’s over or under.
• The winner will be contacted using the details provided at entry. The winner will be contacted on Monday 18th August.
• If we are unable to contact the winner before 17:00 on Friday 29th August, Melton Building Society reserves the right to contact the next closest participant and select them as the winner.
• Contact details will be collected solely for the purpose of notifying the winner and verifying eligibility.
• Personal data will be processed in accordance with Melton Building Society’s Privacy Notice and will not be used for marketing purposes unless explicit consent is given.
• Melton Building Society reserves the right to amend these Terms and Conditions or to cancel or amend the competition at any stage if deemed necessary.
• The promoter’s decision is final, and no correspondence will be entered into regarding the outcome.
