Paying in to your account
If you or someone else are paying money into your account held with Melton Building Society, you should use the following information:
- Sort Code: 40-05-30
- Account number: 74574915
- Account type: Personal or Business depending on your account type
- Reference: Your Melton Building Society account number is the digits that make up your account number with a ‘0’ at the beginning i.e. GGG1234567ABC becomes 01234567. However, if your account number is already in the format 12345678, no changes are required and you should continue using that number.
- Name on account/Payee name: The name of the person or business who owns the account e.g. “John Smith” or “Melton Pie Making Club”
