This is why we want everyone, including members and non-members to have a say and to share their opinions on everything, from the way we run things to how we shape our future to serve you better.

We believe that everyone in our community should feel valued and heard. Melton Voice is just one way we’re working to make that a reality. By collating research and feedback from volunteers in our Melton Voice panel, we can learn what matters most to you, what your goals are and what challenges you face. We then use this insight to improve or create products and services that will make a real difference to our members, and anyone interested in becoming a member.

Bank of England Base Rate

On 1st August 2024 the Bank of England’s Monetary Policy Committee (MPC) met and decided to decrease the Bank Base Rate by 0.25% to 5.00%.

Following this change, Base Rate tracker mortgages will be decreased by 0.25% from the 1st September 2024.
