£1,873 for Lincolnshire Emergency Medical Response
Staff at the Melton Building Society’s Grantham Branch were delighted to present a cheque for over £1,873 to Vaughan and Carl from Lincolnshire Emergency Medical Response (LEMR). First Responders was the Society’s Charity of the Year in 2019 and the Society raised a total of over £5,754 for First Responders in the Grantham, Melton and Oakham areas.
LEMR is an independent charity comprising serving and ex-service volunteers from the Armed Forces who provide a rapid response to 999 emergency calls in support of East Midlands Ambulance Service. Approximately 30 volunteers operate in two man crews and attend emergency calls throughout Lincolnshire. As a not for profit charity they depend on public donations to continue their efforts.
