Community Support from The Melton Building Society

Society Donates £8,853 to DLRAA

The Melton has donated over £8,853 to the Derbyshire, Leicestershire and Rutland Air Ambulance Service (DRLAA).

Collette Richardson, Fund Raising Manager, DRLAA said: “We’re delighted that the Melton Building Society has raised so much for their local lifesaving air ambulance. The money they have raised will enable us to fund over 5 lifesaving missions. The fundraising MMBS do really shows that a little each day, really does go a long way to helping keep our service in the skies.”

“The DLRAA provides a unique and extremely valuable service and we are proud to be able to make this donation,” said Martin Reason, Chief Executive, the Melton.  “The Society raised the money through an affinity savings account which gives savers an attractive rate of interest, whilst every year the Society donates a percentage of the average daily account balances to the DLRAA”.
