Community Support from The Melton Building Society

Society Raises £322 for Grantham Journal Children’s Fund

The Melton Building Society presented a cheque for £322 to the Grantham Journal Children’s Fund.  The money was raised by the Society’s Grantham branch during 2017 through various raffles with donations from customers and employees, including a Christmas bottle raffle in December.

Each of the Society’s branches chooses a local charity to support for a year.  The Children’s Fund was Grantham branch’s chosen charity last year and the Society supported the charity at events such as the Festival of Excitement and the Grantham Carnival.  The Society also sponsored a special fund raising Show Time Night.
