Community Support from The Melton Building Society

The Melton Donates £2,000 to Melton & District Money Advice Centre

The Melton Building Society, through its Charitable Foundation, is supporting the Melton & District Money Advice Centre (MADMAC) with a donation of £2,000. MADMAC provides a free, confidential and impartial advice service for the people of Melton Mowbray and District concerning money and debt problems.

“We are thrilled to receive this donation,” said Amanda Heath, MADMAC. “Donations bring us security for a future of free, impartial debt advice for the local community.”

“Much of the service cost is contributed by volunteers enabling MADMAC to reach out to a large population on a relatively low budget,” said Martin Reason, Chief Executive, the Melton. “The Centre provides an important service to help relieve the negative impact that debt can have on people’s health and wellbeing.”
