Melton Building Society Concludes October Litter Picking Competition with a Flourish of Community Spirit
October was a month of action and engagement for the team at Melton Building Society, as 44 of our colleagues’ donned gloves and grabbed bin bags to participate in our internal litter picking competition.
In total our team devoted a whopping 66 hours to clear litter from key areas including the Country Park, Town centre, and housing estates around Mutual House.
The competitive efforts led to the collection of approximately 30 full bags of litter, making our towns shared spaces cleaner and more welcoming for all. This initiative is a testament to our ongoing commitment to the local community and the environment.
This activity not only aligns with our values but also builds on the success of last year’s event. We’re excited to announce that we hope to continue this tradition every year, reinforcing our dedication to community service.
